Chapter 1356

It felt slightly chilly as the breeze swept through the graveyard.

Simon noticed Sharon shivering beside him. He immediately took off his suit jacket and wrapped it around her shoulders.

Sharon felt the remnants of his body heat and scent on the suit jacket. It filled her with a warm sense of security.

She tilted her head and leaned on his shoulder.

“Howard and Fiona have finally reunited,” she said as she looked at the gravestones before them.

Simon had held a funeral for Howard and buried him beside his mother, Fiona, so that both of them would have each other’s company now.

Simon looked at the gravestones without saying anything. He reached out his arm to wrap it around her shoulder. There was a calm gaze in his eyes.

After a while, he told the woman in his arms, “Let’s go.” He had done enough for Howard.

Both of them walked out of the graveyard and got into the car that was waiting for them at the entrance.
