Diana raised her head to look at him after registering his words. “Are you going on a business trip?” she asked. Why was he sending another person over to take care of the baby? Was he going to be away for a long time?

“You don’t need to know about it. Your only responsibility is to take good care of Bonnie at home.” Simon never had to tell anyone about his whereabouts.

Diana lowered her eyes in disappointment. She had crossed the line. She thought that she now had the right to at least ask him about where he was going.

“Yes, don’t worry. Nothing will happen to Bonnie with so many people taking care of her. Do whatever you need to do,” she said as she lowered her head.

“Alright,” Simon took a final glance at Bonnie before proceeding to leave.
