Simon had no choice but to let go of the woman in his arms.

Sharon sighed in exasperation. She was also a mother. She knew that having a baby indeed came with a lot of inconveniences.

“Go look at your darling daughter. Maybe she needs you to coax her.”

Instead of rushing to open the door, he stared at her heatedly. He pinched her face and asked her in a husky voice, “Are you angry?”

“What’s there to be angry over?” She was not angry at all.

He held her face and lowered his face to kiss her lips. His low voice was full of romantic connotations, revealing his unwillingness to leave. “Wait for me.”
