When Sharon and Simon walked in, they just happened to overhear their conversation. It seemed like Grandpa did not object to Eugene and Fern’s marriage. He merely disliked her job as an actress.

She was even more surprised that Fern was willing to come to the Newton household and meet the elder.

“Hey, Gene, you’re quick on your feet, huh? You’re not even married but your daughter is all grown up! I’m truly jealous of you!” Jim teasingly said with a half-smile on his face.

As soon as he said this, someone slapped his head from the side. A woman’s voice started ringing in his ears. “Aren’t you embarrassed to say such a thing?! I’ve introduced you to plenty of girls. You should try and date one of them!”

Scarlet glared at her son angrily. She was going mad because of his womanizing ways. Would this brat ever change his ways?

“Mom, I already told you that I have someone now. I don’t need you to introduce anyone to me!” Jim rubbed on the sore part where she had hit him earlier, lookin
