Viktor's POV

I woke up with smile on my face, Yesterday's events playing in my mind. The words that Jia spoke about us made me blush. After a stressful and tiring week, it felt amazing to sleep with my mate in my arms. It helped me to heal even faster. I stretched my arm to get Jia near me but the bed was empty. I looked at my mobile, it was still 7 am in the morning. Where did she went so early in morning

She must have not left for school yet. I sniffed to get her scent, she was not in the room. I was getting worried, when I heard front door open. I went outside to check and there she was at door with tray full of breakfast.

I sighed with relief and went to hug her. She was taken aback with my gesture and tried to balance the tray.

"Hey! Careful, you will hurt yourself." She said worried.

"I am almost healed. Where were you?" I asked with concern.

She went and placed the tray on the table.

"I went to make breakfast downstairs." She replied

"You could make it here itself" I said looki
