It is Sunday today, and I am dragging Michelle towards pack ground for our first training session. She was all grumpy and nosy towards me as I had woke her early. Even Tyler wanted her to get trained so she came along.
We reached the ground and I smelled the fresh morning air mixed with pine tree smell that lined the ground. Ara was super excited, jumping around in my head.
"Easy girl, you are overreacting" I scoffed at her
"Today is the most amazing day, I can smell him" she answers.
"Smell whom?" I asked her.
Before she could answer, we heard a deep loud voice
"Come here girls, stand in 4 lines with arms distance between yourselves." Viktor's voice boom around the ground as he clapped his hands to get everyone's attention.
There he was in his full glory, standing tall at 6'5", bulky and muscular. His dark brown hair, cut short and a week-old stubble making him look stunning. Wearing military pants with a plain white Tshirt, he was standing with his hands held back.
After we settled in our position, with me standing behind Michelle in second row, second place, he spoke again.
"Good morning everyone, my name is Viktor Kent, head Warrior of your pack. I will be your trainer"
He was looking at every one of us while instructing us.
"In my absence, Kiara here will be your trainer" he said that placing a hand on the shoulders of the girl standing next to him
"I don't like that, take off that hand" Ara growled irritated.
There was a murmur around me as girls were not happy with this arrangement. They were here for him, so that they could drool on him and be near him.
"I would like every one of you to oblige her commands as you would do to mine" he continued, ignoring the hush noises.
His eyes suddenly landed on mine. His ash gray orbs mesmerize me. I was stuck into them, as if air was sucked out of me. He, too, kept staring at me.
"Mate!" Ara yelled in my head.
"No, this can't be" I told her
"Why not, I love him" Ara said purring
"He will reject us, you dumbo" I assured her.
We were still staring at each other, it was getting difficult for me to breathe. He starts walking towards me. My breathing got heavy and restless at every step he took towards me.
As he stood right in front of me, I was not able to read the emotions in his eyes. He took my hand in his, sending tickles around my whole body, and started walking towards the trees.
“Class dismissed" he informed everyone without looking backwards. I, too, didn't dare look back.
We reached behind some trees, and he left my hand, standing in front of me with arms crossed. My heart start thumping loudly, he can hear it for sure. He looked at me and I looked at the ground, there are so many insects there.
"Look at him, you stupid girl" Ara commanded
"Shut up, he ii just going to reject us, so be ready"
"What's your name?" He asked confidentiality.
"J..Jia D... Davis" my throat is all dry by now.He wants to know my name so that he can reject us.
"How old are you?"
"18" barely audible
He paused. 'Ok so let's get done with this'
"Where do you stay? Definitely not at pack house" he asked.
Ohh! So we are not done with this Interrogation yet. I thought to myself.
"Oakleigh cress"
"What your parents do?"
I told him about them. I was turning all red by now due to nervousness.
"Ok so, my name is Viktor Kent, I am head Warrior at Pearl moon pack. I am 23 yrs old. Ya I know, that's a lot of age difference." He said, scratching his brows with his thumb.
"He is nervous, hug him" Ara told me.
"WHAT? Are you mad" I yelled back.
"It's nice meeting you Jia" he extended his hand for handshake.
I looked at him giving a small smile, and shook his hand, letting go fast. Oh! How nice, we are getting all formal now. Other wolves, when they find their mates, can't get their hand off each other.
He again grabbed my hand and start walking"Let's go" he told me.
'Where the hell is he taking me?'
"To his room to mate and mark us" Ara blushes.
I prefer not to comment on that.
I soon realize we were in a parking area, and he is opening the door of an open jeep for me to get in. I gave him a confused look, and he just gestured me to get in. Mates or no mates, I am bound to his command. I got in any way. He rounded the Jeep and took the wheel.
As we headed to the main road, I was unable to restrain myself, I simply need to ask.
"Where..where are we going?" I asked him finally.
"To your place" he said as a matter of fact
"You want to reject me in front of my parents? " I asked him with shock.
"WHAT? Why will I reject you" he looked at me with disbelief.
"Because I am Ome.." He cuts me before I complete my sentence.
"How does that matters" he was now annoyed.He mumbled something which I was unable to catch.
I better keep my mouth shut. I gave him direction to my place, when he asked. We reached there in no time. Pack house is 15 minutes’ walk from my residence.
