LORRIE'S POV.

I was in my room, staring at the new nails I had fixed, and ripping them off with a little knife.

How dare they fix nails that didn't suit me?

For a whole month, I had been in a sour mood. Everything altogether had been disappointing.

My wedding, my long-awaited and desired wedding, had been shifted to another date, right when I thought nothing could stop me and Ragas from getting married.

It was only two days more, yet I wasn't given the chance to enjoy it. I had gotten my wedding dress, had tried on almost every ring in every ring shop; I had gotten a complete rack of shoes… everything had been prepared.

Only for Ragas to have an important business meeting with clients who he called once-in-a-lifetime clients. My father, who I had thought would take my side, was even thrilled to have such an opportunity come into Ragas' hands.
