Chapter Forty

Klaire's POV

I did not pull away nor push him away this time. Instead, my shaking hands pulled him closer by the front of his shirt to get more of him. My head is spinning at the amount of emotions I'm feeling at this moment. My stomach is doing some flips and it felt like I swallowed the whole sea by the amount of waves I'm feeling in my whole body. My whole body is swaying and light.

My lips are tingling and my eyes are fluttering as I try to match his movement, but failed. It's my second kiss after all. And the first man who took it is also making me experience my second.

Oh, it was bliss and surreal. I can't really explain the exact feeling I'm feeling right now. I feel lightheaded and my heart is pounding like crazy and I'm afraid he can hear it.
