CHAPTER 36: BALDIE BIKER

I hadn't gotten halfway to my apartment building when I fell flat on the floor. The street which I had reached was somewhat busy, as it had some open luxurious stores, bars, and restaurants.

"Ugh," I groaned as I rolled over to lay on my back while I struggled to retrieve my phone from my bra. "4:17 am," I muttered under my breath and stuffed the phone back in, ignoring the sound of a message notification coming in.

I spread my legs apart on the sidewalk, in my head, I envisioned that I was laying on my queen-sized bed at home, and laying on the floor felt comfortable.

"My head is killing me!" I whined, bringing my palms forth to cradle my head as I rolled on the sidewalk.

I heard a group of people coming toward me making noise, it seemed like they just wanted to pass, but I could hear their movement slow down as they saw me.
