It had only been a month since we started college, but it already felt like Felix had no time for me. I understood that he was busy with classes, homework, and extracurricular activities, but I missed spending time with him.

Every time I tried to make plans, he would say he was too busy. He would send me a quick text or call before bed, but it wasn't the same as being with him in person.

I tried to be patient and understanding, knowing that college was a big adjustment for both of us. But it was hard not to feel a bit lonely and left out.

One day, I decided to surprise Felix with lunch. I went to his dorm room, hoping we could eat together and catch up on each other's lives. But when I got there, he was studying with his group mates.

"Hey, Iris," he said, looking up from his textbook. "Sorry, I can't have lunch with you. We have a group project due next week."
