Chapter 93 BEING FRIENDS

[GILLIAN POV]

I was worried about her when I checked the time. The lunch was almost over, but Gwen didn't seem to have a plan to take a break.

So I asked her assistant a favor. At first, she refuses to do what I am saying. It made me confused because it was simple. I just want her to ask her boss about having lunch. Maybe Gwen missed the time out of her loaded work.

As for me, I just brought coffee and went up to the rooftop to smoke.

I didn't have the desire to eat and just wanted to breathe.

Savoring my alone moment, suddenly my phone rang. "Why? Is she not hungry yet?" When the line cut out, I decided to see Gwen.

"What are you doing?!" She was shocked by my sudden entrance. "What do you mean?!" She asked in confusion.

"You never missed your lunch because of your gastric, so what's the reason now?" Instead of giving me an answer, she just stared at me. My brows creased as I got preoccupied. What's running through her mind?

"It's none of your concern, Gillian." I gulped coz s
