Simon blinked in surprise. Lionel? Who was this Lionel person?

He was supposed to treat Rosalie, the daughter of the Simmons family, as the most important guest at Grand Horizon Bank.

Simon had not seen Rosalie yet, so he was not sure what she looked like. However, the woman in front of him was the same person he had spoken to on the phone, so he assumed she was the right individual.

Simon walked up to her and shook her hand politely. "Ms. Simmons, I apologize for the delay. I was caught up with something and kept you waiting."

Melissa smiled. "Mr. Lawson, it's no problem at all. I don't mind."

After a brief pause, she added, "Mr. Lawson, you seem like a really nice guy. I'll make sure to speak highly of you to Lionel later. Maybe it will help you get a promotion soon."

Lionel, again. Who was this person, and why had Simon not heard of him?
