CHAPTER 176: MIDDAY RESCUE

I walked into 5th period and instantly felt the difference.

"Sebastian alone makes every single one of his English classes have this sort of mood and vibe that actually makes me want to learn," I thought to myself. "That's probably because he could talk about the most boring crap and I'd still find it interesting—but that's on me."

Unfortunately, since he wasn't here, that mood just wasn't present. The class felt dead.

"Good morning, class. My name is—" I tuned out the teacher. I really wasn't in the mood for anything right now.

It was the midst of my period, and all I wanted to do was curl up into a ball with a book and vanish into thin air. My menstruation was a terrible time for me to attend class.

I went to the seat that I often use and took out a book. My phone vibrated twice in my pocket as soon as I opened it, which was a quite unfortunate occurrence.
