CHAPTER 10: DRINK OR DARE

I quickly clean myself up and wash my hands. After washing my hands, I fix my hair and clothing, feeling relieved.

I check myself in the mirror before leaving. "Damn, I'm so stupid," I mumble to myself while splashing water on my face. I dry my face and gaze at my reflection a little longer, frustrated.

Walking out of the restroom, I slowly make my way back to the kitchen, a bit downhearted.

"You need some real excitement in your life," Kol's words echo in my mind, making me ponder.

God, what have I done?

"I'm sorry I took so long, I hope you didn't have to wait too long," Mr. Thorne apologizes, and I shake my head, feeling a bit nervous.

He appears composed, eerily calm, almost as if he wasn't engaged in phone activities in my backyard.

"It's all good," I sat down. "I was just about to say the same thing anyway." I pick up my pencil, focusing on the paper in front of me.

I tackle all the problems diligently. Before I realize it, I finish the second page of math work. "I'm done,"
