I hated Damien more than ever. He had not only reminded me of how badly he had treated me in the past, but he had done it in front of my employees, those people who already hated me and wanted to see me fall. I was sure the gossip would spread by tomorrow morning, I couldn't imagine being in the office with people who talked badly behind my back.

" Are you sure you wish to keep him here?" I was brought out of my thoughts by Winter's nurse. I had brought the woman from the hospital along with my husband to properly take care of him. Now that I was in charge of Walker Corp, I hardly had time to look after Winter, he needed professional aid, and I trusted Emily enough to bring him home.

" I trust you would be able to provide him any medical assistance he would need " I told her while taking a seat beside Winter. I ran my hands through his soft black hair " I feel safer having him here with me than at the hospital "
