"Maybe it's right. I'm not going to get my hopes up, Lucile.”

I drowned myself in the equivalent of two pitchers of juice that Lucile had prepared for me when I arrived at her house. She said she doesn't have any alcoholic drinks available, so I'll just have to put up with her orange juice, which is even more sour than her armpit shot.
