Chapter 21 - The Interrogation

CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV

With my fist that was formed like a ball, I breathed heavily as I finally opened the door that led me back to the alpha’s office. "Ice told me that you wanted to have a private talk with me." Just like what Ice said, the atmosphere around the whole room was completely different from usual.

Lucas couldn’t have possibly placed wolfsbane in here, as it would also put his life in danger. "Take a seat. This is going to be a long story." Lucas finally broke the silence between us after quite a while.

Even if I was confused about what story he was referring to, I obediently followed his order. He evaded my gaze, and no matter how many times I tried to establish eye contact, he just wouldn’t budge.

"Stop, Celestina Villarama," he coldly said before he sat on his swivel chair, opposite from where I was. "For starters, hold your necklace and call out for the moon goddess."

I did as I was told, involuntarily. My hands moved on their own until I was holding the necklace t
