Chapter 175

Renee huddled behind the door, watching the commotion outside through the peephole. Mandy was at the front, determinedly stopping at the door of Room 6. Just as she raised her hand to knock, Annie stepped forward, stopping her.

In a low voice, Annie said, “Ms. Xander, if you knock, you’ll give them a chance to cover up. Then there won’t be any evidence left. After all you’ve done for Renee, and she repays you like this? You shouldn’t let her off so easily. I felt bad for you, so I brought the key to the room.”

With that, Annie pressed the key into Mandy’s hand.

Enraged, Mandy could only think about her husband betraying her with one of her employees right under her nose. Losing all sense of reason, she turned and quickly unlocked the door, bursting inside.

Screams erupted from within as the people inside were caught off guard. Renee pressed her ear against the door, straining to hear what was happening, but she could make out nothing, which only added to her frustration.
