Caleb looked expressionless as he sat down opposite Susan. Before she could open her mouth, he asked, "Ms. Baker, I've kept the appointment. Can I have the businessman's information?"

Caleb got straight to the point without nonsense.

However, Susan couldn't stop smiling as soon as she saw him.

"I've already ordered the dishes, Mr. Lane. While you are here, let's enjoy the dishes before we talk about other issues.

"Actually, I didn't expect that Dr. Sanders would agree readily to the deal. I was just trying to test her, but she sold you out right away even though she knew that I have a crush on you."

Susan spoke slowly with a sweet smile on her face.

What she said sounded nothing wrong at first, but the truth was, she was sowing discord.

She was implying that Ember didn't value Caleb at all and that she would betray him when the situation called for it.

Caleb was smart. He had seen through Susan's intention at a glance.

Caleb slowly squinted and gave Susan a dirty look as chill
