Avery seemed to have noticed something at this point. He turned his head to meet Caleb's eyes and then swiftly averted his gaze. Although Avery had a displeased expression written all over his face, he looked quite cute.

Avery was murmuring at the time. His face was so chubby that anyone couldn't help but pinch it.

''What are you doing here? Mommy will be back later. She'll be mad if she sees you, so hurry up and leave!" he stated angrily.

Ember had been in a bad mood for the past two days due to the incident, and Avery didn't want his father to add to his mother's worries.

Caleb didn't take Avery’s repulsion seriously.

Caleb became rather worried upon seeing his amused and irritated countenance. He decided to sit on the bed and say, in a fairly humiliating tone, "Avery, I came here this time because I want you to help me explain to your mommy that things aren't as she thinks."

"Those photos are so realistic. Are you going to say they're photoshopped too?" Avery remarked righteou
