Chapter 53: Tears fall

Dylan's body did not move as a result of the blow because it was not powerful enough. He was like a stone statue, standing still.

The tender tongue extended its reach and licked the blood stains that were located at the corner of the mouth. He turned his head to look at Drake, but the unwavering quality of his gaze did not change. Today, he is not going to give in to Drake's will so easily, and he must take Miren away from him.

Because of how disorganized his life is already, he cannot bring Miren into this situation.

His life is already chaotic enough, he can't drag Miren into this mess.

It appeared as though Miren had been jolted awake from a dream. The resounding slap that Drake delivered caused her to become still for a few seconds. After that, Miren quickly yanked her hand away from Drake's, turned her entire body toward Dylan, and threw herself into his lap. Drake was shocked when he saw her do it.

However, Drake was able to decipher what was going through Miren's mind, and he
