Chapter 126: Killing Intent

Dylan's lap became the resting place for Miren's little feet. He gently rubbed her foot and then planted a passionate kiss on the sole of her foot. His lips were icy and contained an infinite amount of indulgence, which caused Miren to quake for a split second.

She fixed her gaze on Dylan's face, and all of a sudden, her heart skipped a beat. She dithered before quickly turning her head in the opposite direction in a hurry. Because she did not want to put her foot on Dylan's again, Miren withdrew her foot from his shoe.

However, Dylan did not allow Miren to pull back his leg. He grabbed her paws, which was a potentially risky move.

"Why do you want to pull your legs in toward your body? Is it my kiss that's making you feel this way, or something else entirely?"

Miren shook her head, proving that she had not even entertained the possibility of such a thought.

"No, it's just that I'm not used to receiving such devoted service," she said. "I believe that I am able to handle it on my own.
