CHAPTER 7

How stupid I was to believe that Antonio would come to help me, his brother is right, just because he feeds on me doesn't mean I'm special for him, I'm not even the girl his type, I'm just a stupid pubert who feels a crazy attraction for boys older than her and with dangerous looks.

—Are you okay? —When the chubby girl comes closer she reminds me that I wasn't alone —How can she treat you like that? It's cruel.

—I guess all boys are like that, I'm not surprised.

A lump forms in my throat as she reminds me of her words, in between I close my eyes and stand up, I thank her for helping me and as I hear dad's car, I approach him, he can tell something is wrong with me as he notices my nervousness. As I get into the car I see that the girl is still in the same place.

—I live with my aunt but she seems to be late.

She sees dad's car she didn't feel confident to make a decision so I told her it was about to get dark and staying out late can be dangerous, she accepts scared making me laugh because I think I overdid it.

I explained to dad what had happened so he said she was fine, he asked her if she had a cell phone to call her aunt but she said it was damaged so dad lent her his, she calls and tells him she would be at our house waiting for her for safety.

—I have to go to the supermarket, you can stay at home and remember....

—Do not go to the woods at night.

The girl smiles shyly. He invited her inside but when I was closing the door, I saw him, he was with a blond girl, my blood was boiling with anger, I was going inside with her so I told my companion to wait for me.

I hear him following me behind and he asks me where I was going but my blood was boiling from the rage I couldn't control myself, when he came in I saw his mother about to close the door but I stopped her with a bang, she is surprised to see me, she greets me normally but I just went straight to where I heard Antton's voice

—Serena wait honey... —her mother tries to reach me but I don't let her I know she can use her vampire speed but she didn't since the girl was seeing everything.

—What the hell are you doing here? —Donat crosses my path. —You'd better leave.

I kicked him in his lower legs because of the school thing, taking advantage of him being busy trying to calm his rage and pain, I saw the girl about to close the door but I didn't let her as I pushed her out of the way having her full attention.

I could see that he was more than furious for being here, the girl looks at me confused and asks Antton for an explanation but he stays silent watching me, he stands up and orders the girl to leave.

The girl, frightened by his macabre look, leaves the door open, she orders me trying to intimidate me but this time it won't be like that because my courage is high.

—How dare you enter my house?

—Easy. The same way you break into mine.

He shows me his red eyes indicating that he was more than furious, I won't claim him for having abandoned me when he could have helped me because we are nothing of course but he is feeding on me, at least he should have defended me for that reason, but I meant so little to him that he just watched everything from the shadows.

My mother leaves in a rage, I see her walk out of the house straight to hers, knock several times and see her talking to her.
