Evangeline opened her eyes and felt a sting all over her body.
"Is this how to feel hurt in an accident?" she asked herself when she felt a heavy thing on her lap and when she roamed down her gazes she was stunned to see Blake sleeping beside her. She felt butterflies on her stomach as she moved up slowly to take a seat and she made sure she was careful not to wake him up.
She drew a slight smile as she softly rubbed his hair. But her smile instantly vanished when she realized that Blake was shivering a bit and profusely sweating, his sweats were as cold as his body.
She immediately lifted his head slowly and asked, "Blake, are you alright? Please, talk to me. Can you hear me?!" she yelled and Blake slowly opened his eyes and stared at her green eyes. He smiled a little to see that she was well, but then he gripped on the sheet and his face winced and she could see him struggling.
