"This is so boring…"
"Then why the hell are you here?"
Tina scowls at Megan before striking her back with her piercing words, "Why?! Do I need your permission?"
Megan stays quiet without answering it. She looks away from Tina who is glaring at her and writing a script in her head for the ongoing debate. Preparing herself well, Tina waits for Megan to talk back to her, but that fortunate moment never occurs. Because it gets interrupted by Ario.
"Now, now, ladies! Beauties like you shouldn’t have catfights. Your charms are fading away in the process, don't you agree?" he says, hanging a sly smile on his face.
"Who...the hell are yo
A while ago, Erin's room before she jumps into the fight…."What.…what's going on?!" Venessa asked Serena while trembling to death as she secured Erin's unconscious body in her embrace. The outcry of unknown beings and chaotic sounds coming from the first floor was causing her to shiver. However, Serena looked calm, focusing on something as her eyes shone brightly. She started to sweat profusely and answered in a quivery voice, "I~I don't… know!""What?""I...I mean...I can't read anyone’s mind! As if something is blocking the way…" after replying to Venessa, Serena immediately closed all the doors and windows of the room. Her weak body moved on its own and shaky hands tried to be as
"So, you're claiming that these monsters are the vampires who have gone missing?""Yes!"Ario’s solid response forces Megan to back off from the investigation. She stands beside Julius quietly as she runs again through the incident from earlier. Ian and other injured vampires are now receiving treatment, so the second floor is occupied. On the other hand, Erin and the others have captured the monsters that have attacked the mansion and caused chaos. While Ario is being thoroughly questioned after his proclamation that his missing clan members are among those beasts, Aidan is trying his best to cure the wounded ones. So far, Ario is at a disadvantage since those monsters are the reason behind this terrible situation. At least that's what Megan thought until her eyes met Oliver'
"No! Please, don't do it! Give me another chance." "Asking something impossible to a devil…Tch! I thought you had some sense, but I was mistaken." "I'm not ready. Please! This will be the last!" "Enough!" Orus doesn't give Uriel a chance to speak further. Unable to bear to see his failure with his own eyes, Uriel closes his eyes. But the shadows have witnessed everything. The way Orus spreads Uriel's mouth and enters his body is surprising enough for an old man to receive a heart attack. This scene is the worst of those horror stories that a baby hears from his mother at night. The walls can barely hide the terrifying screams from the vampires outside the room. Blood has coloured the floor red while Uriel keeps choking. His continuous coughing has covered the silent room into a hospital cabin. As if an old man is horribly sick! He grips his throat which is paining badly until Orus fully takes control over him. Uriel gets up carefully although his legs are giving up. Cracking
"My lord, are you sure you need these many vampires to catch a single one?" Raphael asks Rowan in wonder. Beside him stands a man whom he has never seen before. A weak figurine unlike any other vampire and a pale face like an almost dead vampire. His pale yellow hair shines brightly under the sunlight of the breaking dawn. He looks familiar and yet really far from recognising. 'Who is he?' Is the question that's creating a storm in Raphael's heart. He can't conclude why he's feeling this sense of kinship. However, he can sense the urge inside him to speak with that person which gets interrupted by Rowan. "Although you've got a point, Lord Raphael, you may not know about the allies of that rare vampire." "Allies?!" Raphael asks in wonder before continuing, "Is there a house that would oppose you, my lord? Who would dare!"
The clashing sound of swords is resonating in the air. Drake, Raphael's informer, is standing near to observe the practice under Raphael's instruction. He keeps yawning. Because he hasn’t missed a day watching the same swordplay and at one point it has become boring. So he keeps searching for something amusing while he tags along with his master. Although he had hope when Raphael received the black letter, it was a hollow one! The Count Lord has declared war against the rumoured rare vampire but there's no trace of bloodshed. Rather it seems to be like any other normal day under the scorching sun to pass by. At least that's what Drake has been thinking until he notices Kumo running among the soldiers. He has a terrified look on his face as if he has seen a ghost. A ghost in the broad daylight sure seems to be a funny topic, but not that interesting for Drake. He's about to ignore him
“Everything is going according to plan, miss.” “It’s too early to let our guard down. You both remember what to do, right?” Oliver and Ario nod their heads in reply to Erin’s question. Watching them synching, a soft smile appears on her face and yet it expresses anxiety and sadness. She tries to hide it away immediately but fails due to Ario’s sharp eyesight. Judging it from a vampire’s view, it’s hard for Ario to understand Erin’s feelings when it’s been some days for him observing her. They aren’t that close to each other to acknowledge their situations without expressing them. Although he’s a social person who can read a person like an open book, it’s somewhat different when it comes to Erin. It’s as if she has hidden behind a curtain that has drawn a line between them. Ario doesn’t know whether he has the right to pull her out of that small boundary or not, he decides to encourage her from the other side for now. Grabbing Erin’s hands which are gripping the bars tightly, Ario
“Where did I keep it?”“Hurry up, Oliver!!”“Can’t you shut your mouth for a while?”“TCH!”Keeping the door slightly open, Ario gets out of the room to guard it. Thankfully, everyone is busy discussing the rare vampire that they don’t have the time in hand to look after the castle. The rummaging sound through the papers is irritating Ario, but he can’t make a sound while Oliver is busy looking for the documents. They’re from Willow who is known as Uriel’s informer. Or maybe was! He’s missing since Oliver left the castle, not even a trace of his dead body! It’s surpris
"My lord, you should leave now. There's a hidden door behind the second staircase which will lead you to the secret dungeon." Oliver whispers to Edward while fighting nearby. He further assures, "We'll be watching your back. So, hurry!" Edward grins at him. Taking his last line as a joke, he says, "Rather watching my back, you should hold your men at first. You look like you’re struggling quite a bit here to need my men's support." Oliver can't believe Edward acting arrogantly when someone's life's in jeopardy. He remembers a saying, "Arrogance and ignorance go hand in hand" and it truly applies to him. Unfortunately, he can't say it to his face! Composing himself, Oliver politely replies to Edward, "My lord, you’re right. I'm unworthy and that's why I need some time to strengthen the bond between me and my men. Would you kindly
