Xander's pov
The nerve of that peasant.
The nerve of that mouthy devastatingly beautiful peasant.
Elle's POVWith Anconeus gone, I moved to the door to check the corridors leading to the room as subtly as I could and there was no one around.
Xander's povShe was flirting with Ben. I was so annoyed by it and confused at the fact that something like that could annoy me.I glared at th
Elle's POVThe gaze of Lord Alexander's smolding grey eyes was all I thought about as they closed the large wooden door leading to Lady Alexia's room behind them.
Xander's povI moved about as stealthily quiet as I could around the very dark room. Well, it was really quiet. It was the middle of the night and I was a vampire after all. With my heightened sense of hearing, I could hear even a pin drop. Li

Elle's POVThere was a small stone pathway that wound around the exquisitely beautiful flowers and trees from the side of the mansion. Some of the trees were overgrown, their leaves cascaded overhead carefully masking the door I had seen Lord Alexander and Lord Ben pass through from the balcony in Lady Alexia's room.
Elle's POVI was in shock. I was gasping for air in the beautiful garden at what I had seen. I needed time to regain my composure and I needed to get that away from the path to the dungeon. I didn't even know what Lord Alexander would do to me if he found me out.

Elle's povI walked through one of the secret pathways in Xander's estate greatly missing him as he was away on council business. I prayed he was safe and his plans were successful.
Xander's povThe tension in the room completely shifted and focused on our one uninvited guest. The difference this time was he couldn't be killed and his body discarded like the silly human of earlier in the day.
Xander's povThe whole room erupted in rowdy disagreements and sides were taken as sides argued against other sides. Ben and I sat amidst the chaos and observed. Silence in such a situation was the best response.
