Noosha’s POV“What do you mean, Moonlight curse? This is what killed my Larissa. It is about mating with firstborn children of Selene’s and Endymion’s lineage.” I said while listening to Elantria telling me what happened in Nerzelis. Meanwhile, Marcellus, a little spawn of a devil, was lying on the floor, naked as a newborn with charcoal black mist in his eyes. He was blabbering something in Latin and looked completely possessed. I could see the smidgens of Chaister's chaos magic in the mist that filled his eyes. That’s strange. Well, whatever, I don’t care. Gosh, I hate this little bastard. He looks like a spitting image of Hades. That makes my anger, hatred, detest and disgust towards him even greater. “Wait, you said Moonlight curse? Are you sure that the girl you saw was Aralyn?” I asked her while thinking what the hell had happened in there. I have been looking for this girl since Moon Dog killed my daughter. If she was indeed my long-lost granddaughter and if this son of a bi
Malleteagan‘s POV We had no time to dwell on the horror that we just witnessed. One second, we witnessed the silence that balefully draped across the crater of Sanguineabyss following the death of fae twin kings. The next second, we were besieged by a coven of blood witches mingled with the melee of beasts, demons and warriors. They were looking down at us from the embankment of Sanguineabyss’ crater while we were at its bottom base, filled with blood. Blood was running through every inch of Sanguineabyss as if the sky and ground in here were made of a vascular system with its own constant influx and flow of blood. We were trapped. Following the deaths of Thersar and Kandreah, I was left alone with a battalion of over 60000 warriors: my warriors, dwarves and freshly distraught vampiric, dark and light faes who had just lost their rulers. And I was meant to lead the battle with them. I mean, Nexelex is still here, and despite his small stature, he proved to be a damn good warrior and
Ramaalen’s POV When Malleteagan rose, he sprung into the air with the speed of lightning. He floated above the Sanguineabyss battlefield, above his fratricidal warriors. He looked magnificent, god-like and outworldly in his celestial form. His body was basked with mesmerising moonlight shine. He came to eye level with the blood witches and their petty sigil, which was still in the air. Useless fucking spell bags these witches. He will crush them easily. I need to get a new strategy and quickly. They cannot handle demigods. The blustery of a furious sphere of moonlight eclipse formed in his palms. With all of the guns of his magic blazing and on the warpath, he swiped his hand and crushed their sigil, the one that hovered in the air above the Sanguineabbys. The wavelets of his magic, which were wrapped around his arm, merged with the force of his physical crush. The sigil, which hovered over the Sanguineabyss crater, exploded in lush, lava-like particles of dust and blood as it disapp
Malleteagan’s POV After a long and exhausting fight, which seemed to last for hours, if you ask me, Raamalen swung her hand to strike me with her magic. We were battling on the ground, in no man-land border between Walthera and Sanguineabyss. I was dangerously close to the edge of the Sanguineabyss embankment and on the verge of falling down to its crater. The battle between alliance forces and Wengarthrians is still erupting there, in pits of the Sanguineabyss crater. Our warriors were decimated, and our losses were tremendous. I was about to topple and fall back down. I was wounded, exhausted and, although I hate to admit, on the brink of defeat. At the moment when I was about to tumble down into a crater wrecked by battle, a galvanised fuse of enlightened energy filled the sky above us. It was gushing and exploding out of the darkness of the bloodied Sanguineabyss crater. The energy current erupted out of the crater’s body like a tsunami. It spread its waves across the Sanguineaby
Aralyn’s POV I laid in my bed, feeling overwhelmed. I was overthinking everything. I have seen every single thing that has happened since Meena took control of our body. The most disturbing and gooseflesh-provoking thing is that I enjoyed every second Meena spent with Marcellus. And I have made an agenda to hate the bloke, to kill him, while Meena seriously messed up with my plan. The only thing that irked me more than thoughts of our steamy moment was meeting with Elantria. I know that she is one of my mother's half-sisters. Mother told me that Noosha, my mother’s mother, also had two daughters, Ramaalen and Elantria, and a son, Yordanreen, with Hades. I didn’t mind meeting Elantria in person. Actually, I craved family and belonging somewhere, so much so that I actually felt happy to see her. It would be better if I were in less state of undress, but hey…Although meeting with Elantria should have stirred elated emotions and rejoicing of reunion with long-lost family, it left a bitt
Aralyn’s POVI went to talk with Nethanaiah and Merlius and told them about my plans. They seemed to be displeased. “I knew that he would be the problem. I should have kicked him out of our home straightaway. No, I shouldn’t even allow him to get here. When you came with him and when I had the chance to kill him on the spot, I should have done it. It was so easy to shred him to pieces when he was unconscious. And I missed this perfect chance. Now that he hurt you, you are exposing yourself to danger to go to Wengarthria for revenge. It all could have been avoided if I killed him on the same day Meena brought him here.” Merlius said, while Meena winced firstly and then growled at him. Nethanaiah pushed him to the side. Nethanaiah’s POVI have ushered Merlius away from Aralyn. “Merlius, are you stupid? Don’t you see that Aralyn and Meena are not on the same page when it comes to this? Don’t you see that Aralyn struggles to accept the mate bond with Marcellus, unlike Meena? Although Ar
Malleteagan‘s POV After we spent hours slaughtering the remaining demons of Sanguineabyss, we were knackered. The tide of Sanguineabyss’ blood-filled crater rose high. When the battle for Sanguineabyss started, our feet squealed with squelching sounds as we paced through the blood-soaked battleground. Blood was reaching our ankles at that point. Now, the influx of butchered troops of Wengarthrian demons and soldiers of alliance alike caused the tide of blood to rise to our knees and even higher when it comes to dwarves. No pun intended. Demons were unable to use their magic as enchanted twins made the Shield of Balance, and no one could break it. And their shield prevented and disabled the use of any form of magic. So, the remaining demons had to clash with us in face-to-face combat. And this was to our advantage, as there is no army as strong as my Lycan army. Not to mention that even without their magic, faes are terrific warriors as well. Dwarves, despite their small stature, are
Trigger Warning: emotional abuse, offensive and derogatory language, insults, demeaning and humiliation Marcellus’ POVWhenever, Ezel, the Satan within me would fight for control and dominance, the spell they bound him with would drain more energy from me. We were also weakened by devilsbane and corpse flowers. This constant internal turmoil is taking a toll on my already weakened body. I feel knackered and incapacitated. And then, out of nowhere, I felt a sudden stab in my heart as if someone had driven a hot iron dagger through it. I knew that meant that Konneyard was under attack. Each blow and loss of each warrior weakened me even more than I already was. I felt like I was going to faint. Still, I did my best to hide the throbbing pain that was shattering me inside out from the prying eyes of Noosha, the bitch. “So, darling, I think it is time for us to share a proper momma and son moment. What do you think…son?” she said with cynicism oozing from every pore of her being. I met
