Chapter 4

Her eyes are swollen and red like a tomato as she arrives at the Light Bar. It's kinda early that's why she enters only a few people are there. She sat on the vacant counter bar and ordered a tequila and started to drink while reminiscing about what she witnessed in her husband's office. As she remember it she started to cry.

If she could only ease and forget the pain she's feeling right now. If it has medicine to cure the heartaches she's suffering now she would gladly take it. She felt so much pain that it was unbearable. She wants to erase in her mind what she saw but she can't. It's like a song that's continuing to play and play. She felt hopeless.

Seeing your husband with someone else is so painful and much more painful if you witness with your own two eyes that your husband is making out with someone else. Yes, her husband always sleeps with different girls and she knows it but this is the first that she witnessed it personally. It's tearing her apart. She wants to shout loud to release the pain inside her heart.

She is starting to question herself and her worth as a woman and as a wife. Is she really that not worthy? What else does she need to do to ease the pain she's feeling right now? She doesn't want to leave Thunder that instant, she loves her with everything she has. Even if other people would say that she's stupid and a martyr she won't mind it. She just loves her husband so much that she would take a risk and still choose to stay beside him even if she's in unbearable pain.

"One tequila, please," she tipsy said to the waiter.

"Are you sure you want another shot Ma'am? You drink too much and I think you're already drunk," the waiter asked. 

She just rolled her eyes. "Why do you care anyway? I can do whatever I want, I'm a customer here so you need to follow what my order is! Just give me another 1 glass!" she shouted.

The waiter just shut his mouth and didn't say anything. He just nodded his head and started to get another glass of tequila. He doesn't want to argue with the girl anymore.

After Jewel drank the last shot of tequila she ordered, she looked at her watch and she was shocked when it was already 10:00 pm. That's why she noticed that there are so many people entering this bar and that it's started to be crowded already.

She notice that the people in this bar started to get wild already, there are people busy dancing like a wild animals in the crowd, there are people who are making out, there are a group of friends that she thinks are chillin', there are couples and single and most of all there are girls like a whore who's waiting for a victim or a customer.

She felt a little bit tipsy already, that's why she decided to stand up and make her way home. She knows that she is already drunk but she can handle herself.

When she was already outside the bar when she accidentally bumped into a guy. She notices that the guy is already drunk also. She just says sorry and continues to walk when the guy stops it.

"Yes? What do you want?" she asks irritated.

The guy just smiled like an idiot. "Miss, you want me to accompany you?"

"Excuse me? Who told you that I need one? I'm not interested in anyone so let me go!" she shouted.

"What a brave woman! I like girls like you, so interesting and I think you're also wild in bed," he smirked.

She wants to slap the guy but she chooses to push him and starts to walk again but the guy immediately grabs her arm. 

"Damn it! Asshole, stop pestering me! I'm not interested in what you are saying so please leave me alone!" she said in an angry voice. She is losing her patience already.

But the guy just laughs at her, which makes her more pissed.

"Hard to get, aren't we? I know you want it also, don't worry I'm good in bed and I'll make you scream in pleasure." she seriously said while wearing his devilish smile.

She immediately slapped the guy because of the anger she is feeling right now. "Pervert!"

And with that, the guy got pissed with what Jewel did to him. 

Jewel just closed her eyes when she noticed that the guy would slap her, but a couple of seconds had passed and she didn't feel any pain in her face. She suddenly opened her eyes to see what had happened.

She saw the guy lying down in pain. She immediately turns her gaze to the person right next to the guy that she thinks is the reason why the guy is in pain.

She almost got painted when she already saw who was behind this. She suddenly felt fear in her whole body when she saw how cold the stare of Thunder was. She sees the eyes of her husband like a fire ready to attack her anytime and all she can see is pure coldness and anger written on his beautiful face.

Thunder quickly grabs her arms and he almost pushes her inside the car.

Face of Jewel becomes pale, she can't believe that all of the many people in this place would think that her husband is the one who can see her in that state.

When they arrive at their house, Thunder gets out of the car as fast as he can and grabs her immediately.

"What are you doing in that place, huh?" He shouted.

Jewel can't find the exact answer to what her husband is asking. She knows that the wrong answer would bring her chaos. She's nervous indeed because of the anger lingering on her husband's face.

"Why are you not answering my question woman? Don’t make me repeat it! I am asking you!" he shouted in so much anger.

"Ahhhhh..! " Jewel shouted in pain when Thunder slapped her 

She almost felt the palm of her husband on her face. It hurts! 

But Thunder is not content with what he did so he steps forward to his wife and pulls her hair to face him.

"Ahhh! Ouch! It hurts! T-thunder stops it." she shouted.

"I will hurt you bitch if you're still gonna ignore my question! Tell me, did you flirt with another man in that place, huh?" he said, emphasizing every word.

"No, Thunder! You're wrong! I'm alone there, I didn't accompany anyone. Please, believe me." she said pleading.

"And do you think I would believe in you? I'm not an idiot Jewel! So don't ever dare to lie to me!" he shouted in my face.

Again Jewel shouted in pain as Thunder slapped her again. She thinks her face feels numb from what her husband did.

Even if she is shivering in fear she manages to stand up and face her husband's indignation. "I'm telling that truth, Thunder," she said while holding her husband's arm.

But Thunder remains silent, after a second he suddenly powerfully pushes Jewel. 

Thunder quickly came closer to her and then held her chin harassed."I'm telling you, Jewel, don't ever test my patience!"

With her whole strength, she pushes her husband cause she feels that her chin is starting to ache.

Jewel started to cry, in her entire life she didn't experience this kind of life. Her parents love her so much, they never hurt her nor treated her like this. She's like a princess in their home. So it hurts to know that she's now experiencing this kind of treatment at the hand of her husband.

His stare becomes dark and cold. She immediately overtook my arms harshly. " Remember this Jewel and put it in your small mind! If I caught you with another man I will kill the two of you, especially you! You choose this life so bear with it! Don't do stupid things that may lead my family to disgrace! Don't ever dare to put my surname in shame! You understand?." he said then left me.

She almost forgot how to breathe because of what Thunder told her. Even if her whole body hurts she manages to stand straight and ascend. When she entered her room she immediately went straight to the comfort room and then stepped in the facade of the mirror. She traces her hands to her face, she can see the wounds and scratch on it. And she also feels that there's a fracture between her shoulder and back.

She smiled, a fake one while her tears flowed in her beautiful eyes. "I can't see the old version of me now, I can't see the happy Jewel I used to be. All I can see now is the miserable and hopeless Jewel, full of pain and heartaches. - she thought.

But even if Thunder did these things to her, she will not leave her husband. Even if everyone will say that she is really stupid she will not mind it. She believes that pain and being hurt are part of what we call love. She loves Thunder so much and she will stay beside him no matter what happens.

You're a really stupid woman! Yes, you're right. Pain and heartaches are part of love but not what your husband is doing to you, hurting you physically.- her inner me burst out

She fixed herself before going to bed.
