Evie's POV

Someone was chasing me! Chasing me hard, with no hope of them backing away from me no matter how hard I ran! And run I did, not willing to let myself be caught by whoever the force was. I continued to run until I got to the end of the street, where there was nowhere else to run or hide. The figure chasing me got to where I was and gave an eerie laugh. I shivered from the negative aura coming from the person.

"Today is the day you die!" The voice yelled at me.

I tried to look at the person to see if it was someone I knew, but the cloak covering the face made it entirely impossible. I couldn't recognize the voice either because it seemed to be distorted by some kind of force. The figure turned into a wolf before my eyes, and I staggered backward.
