Evie's POV

"Don't you even dare about touching a hair on her head!" I heard the intruder yell at Rebecca.

The latter turned and snorted in annoyance. "And who is going to stop me? You? A weak Omega?" She laughed as if she was thinking about how ridiculous the thought was. She turned back to me as if the intruder was a nobody that she should be concerned about.

"I might be a weak Omega while you are of the Elder's bloodline, but against all of us, I don't think you will be able to do much." She hissed.

That made Rebecca turn to look at her. "What do you mean by all of you? Do you want to die?"

"Grace, leave," I pleaded with the woman who was the intruder and was bent on making herself my savior by endangering her own life. "Please."

She ignored me as if I hadn't said anything to her at all. Instead, she smiled and spread her arms out before she turned to look at Rebecca, who was still foaming from her mouth.

"When I said we, I meant we." She said with a bold grin.
