Evie's POV For the next three days after the suffocating incident in my room happened, the Alpha refused to allow me to sleep alone. Damon's POV All through the hours the meeting lasted, it was hard to concentrate on it as the thought of leaving Evie alone at the pack where her life was threatened wouldn't stop bugging me. The initial plan was to stay for the night in the city once we were done with the meeting, but I found that I couldn't do it. My mind was so fixated on being beside her that staying away was making me go almost insane.
