After feeding from Altair that day, I had walked around the camp with a weight of fear hanging on my shoulders, expecting to see my uncle charging behind me, ready to end my life. But as time passed, I neither heard nor saw anything, and slowly, I returned to my routine. I hadn't fed on rabbit blood since that day, and the transformation I experienced lingered, making my day-to-day life easier to manage.
