164. Pictures and the Emergency

Life didn’t go as planned after the trial was over, not for Jane and certainly not for Alexander. The media painted both Alexander and Jane as having an affair and made it look like that’s why Jane took the stand against her father. Others painted her as a prostitute and criminal but few saw her as what she was, a victim.

Scandals after scandals, both Jane and Alexander didn’t give the media the needed attention and that caused an outrage amongst the media house.

Hence the media took it further with scary narratives against Alexander accusing him of several crimes ranging from forging of documents to put Ken in jail and murder to planting evidence. It wasn’t until lawsuits started tripping in that the discovery was made that most of the media houses were under Ken Li’s payroll. Further investigations was made and secret bank accounts identified, they were all frozen and slowly the news died down.
