132. Memories

The room was like a grave yard after the call ended between Alexander and Jane Li. The phone was still sitting pretty on the center table with Alexander staring at it blankly. Since the call ended, he had been mute whilst cuddling at the equally dumbfounded Alice who had a blank look on her pretty face.

“Why didn’t you do anything about what she was going through in the past? You had knowledge of it and it seems she told you immediately the abuse started.
