Theme: The Canyon Beast and the MaggotsI felt sudden burning coursing from the sword throughout my body, between my eyes, and I leapt to my feet with an enormous amount of strength, more than anything I had ever encountered. I leapt twenty feet from the canyon bridge into the air, and one of the big crawling insects missed me by inches. I swivelled in mid-air, spun my body twice, and landed on the other side of the incoming insect. They had two sharp antennae, similar to a mosquito's but more so than a scorpion's. I knew if they mistakenly struck me with those ugly ledges, I wouldn't live to tell the tales. They had eight legs, two large eyes, a mouth like that of a spider, and saliva was dripping from them. I reached forward with a great battle cry, wrapped my hand around the smooth ivory hilt of the sword, which was decorated with runes, and slashed at one creature with all my strength as it dived at me.

The theme: the processorAfter plummeting for what seemed like perpetuity, I finally felt my back splashing against the water. The liquid moisture gushed throughout my mouth and nose altogether. Gathering all the stability left, I managed to drag my body to the surface of the water, my breathing coming hard and roughly.Just when my body was calming down, the massive creature emerged from the depths of the canyon. Its huge multicoloured tentacles were flapping in the water. The tentacles had rough hierarchies like fish fins, and the tentacles had a sharp end like that of a spike. The creature had deep yellow eyes, like an Alpha vampire, and sharp razor teeth that lined up in his mouth. The creature opened its mouth wide, and I was scared to the bone, like a chicken that got beaten by the rain, thinking the idiot wanted to swallow me. However, it let out a roar that echoed throughout the entire canyon

Theme: "The processor 2""You aren't one of the reapers, so return to your duke and don't force me, " The veiled man warned the so-called processor. Despite how bold he was trying to sound, the fear was still visible in his voice, which makes me wonder who this processor is. First, it was Esther and General Zod that exclaimed in fear, followed by how all of them were moving back in fear."You know my duke right, don't you?" The processor replied. Her voice was so calm and peaceful. However, it carried authority and warning. "I serve Smith, and you all know that I am a loyal dog.""And none of the Smiths are still alive," General Zod snapped at her."What about him?" The processor said, her gaze now resting on me. "Did you think I didn't know that he was the last of the Smiths? I know you precluded his soul on its way back to the real world. Or d

Theme: Smith's chronology and the priest messengers With one hand, the processor cranked me off the ground and made me run into a yellow bright light that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. The yellow light was in the shape of a door, and I suspected it to be a portal. "Get them," I heard the veiled man yell in anger. "I want him back here and don't spare her." I heard him shouting orders at his men. I took one last glance at the scene, and I could see some men in a black outfits, riding a black horse galloping towards the yellow portal, which looks like a door. After a few metres for them to enter, the strange portal closed up and disappeared. "Are we safe?" I asked the processor as she finally dropped me to the ground. Using my eyes to explore our environment, I could see that we were now in a thick forest that was full of deep trees with their leaves swaying wi

"Whether you like it or not, we are going with the boy and you can't stop us." "Did you think that the raven raiders, Nazgul, and other demons wouldn't come for their master's soul?" One of the ugly head monsters said "The soul nectar will keep drawing all the evil entities towards him, and he won't even survive a fight with them." I told him to "keep your story for the gods." He is an ugly demon with two heads. He was standing beside the one with four hands, a big head, long sharptails, and big bulging muscles. He also has different scars running across his face; his teeth were so rotten that maggots were walking all around his body. His teeth were so brown, a

The great cries of about a hundred men were now coming closer. They were riding a skateboard, which I guess was formed from ice. They had black armour and a hood was covering their faces. "Who are they?" I asked the processor "They are the reaper's combatants," she answered, then quickly bent low as another sharp, smothered rock flew past our faces. "It means he has found a way to locate us." She explained. "How is that possible?" I asked, surprised. "I thought you said those entities would only scent my smell if I reached the outside world." "He has caused me more trouble than you can ever imagine, and I promised to send his head back to the veiled man as a gift." I snarled in rage. "It doesn't work like that," the processor corrected me. "Your enemy today might end up being your saviour tomorrow, so you must learn how to forgive. Moreover, he was following his duty. Semi-final Theme: The Clash As I charge at the incoming wendigo, my body is flickering with silver flame. I can feel the earth rising from the ground and forming a protective armour for my body. I can feel the remaining two elements, water, and air, waiting for my order before they wreak destruction. I don't need to say anything again. All I need to do is command them in my mind, and they will surely follow my order. I could feel the soul sword throbbing in my hand, and as I drew it, it rang with a sharp sound that seemed to cut throughout the universe. I could feel the sword speaking to me, telling me it was ready to shed blood and wreak havoc. It seems like my foster father was talking to me. He was telling me that I was a warrior. He was urging me to fight for my people and take revenge on him. For the first time in my life, I have a reason and an opportunity to kill.

Quarterfinal Theme: "The Wendigos" Caleb, or should I say, Coven, slammed his body against the invisible wall that imprisoned us with tremendous force, more powerful than anything I've ever seen. At first, nothing happened. Then he repeated the same thing, and I felt our environment shaking. I conjured a huge pebble, hit it against the unseen shield, and the ground shook again. I said, "Step aside," and he quickly shifted behind me, watching the next gimmick I was going to use. I went down on my knees, then started punching the ground so inadequately. At first, I felt some injury in my knuckles as I continued hitting the sandy floor. Nevertheless, I didn't stop. After a while, a light started flashing on my hand as I continued smashing the ground. Gradually, the light expanded, and it became brighter. The pain I was feeling has now increased, and I can feel my energy running out. I knew I was using too much strengt

Caleb stood beside me, his red eyes shining brightly in the dark knight, while Reed led the way. He would run off, sniff around, and come back to relay the message to us, just like he was doing when we first reached the prancing hall. However, he is more careful now, so he won't get caught again. "So, can you tell me more about yourself?" I asked Caleb, trying to strike up a dialogue so it would kill the stillness. Until death, chapter 35 Theme: "The Shadow Black Men" I did maelstrom skills, my body spinning in the air like a rotating prom, the earth and wind on my rump stimulating me forward. My right hand is now blazing with fire, while my left fist is folded with rock. Letting out a great battle cry, I whack at one of the first men that Reed called "shadow black beings." I don't care whether they are Shadow Black or not. I don't care whether they can perform black magic like a necromancer or be more powerful than them. All I know is that I am ready to step into this sparkling portal, and no one can stop me. My blow was aimed high, a deadly blow that was meant to kill. A few inches from my fist colliding with the first man, he stopped my deadly blow with his palm. However, I did relent as I blasted him back with my right hand, which was streaking with flame. The second man attacked me from behind with a long blade, and I qu

  • Until Death   Ch-34, hall

Theme: "prancing hall Have you ever witnessed a war before? I mean a battle between mortal and chassis, beast against critter, dark power against a human projectile that has been beguiled with a sacred geyser, which was meant to kill and burn flesh. If the battle were taking place on dry ground, it would have been better. However, the reverse is the case. The battle is taking place in the air, and any mistake might lead to our death. Not only will our deceased be neglected, but Gaea, Gondor, and the Middle Realm will be destroyed. You might be wondering what concerns me about Gondor and the Middle Realm. Don't forget that my dad was trapped in Gidamorah, which is in Gondor. Moreover, Ryan's power was trapped in the same place. That means if we want to stop any threat in the future, we must destroy its power. Only then can my dad be saved. I closed my eyes, then opened them and it turned silver. Until death, chapter 33 Theme: "Getting Ready" "Let's go and chew some ears," Reed chittered on my shoulder, his tail wiggling in excitement as if the battle we were about to have was for leisure. "That bitch and her boyfriend," he chittered again, and I knew he was talking about Ryan and my mom. "Don't fucking stop me," he growled, and I could feel the anger in his voice. "Their ears, eyes, and nose belong to me. Then you can do to their body as you like." "Okay sir," I simply said, knowing fully well that delinquency to reply to him would only lead to another argument that might lead to a fight. That is Reed for you. He loves talking, just like a parrot. He likes to show off his hunting skills, and he believes that your enemy shouldn't be spared. It would have been easy if he wasn't dragging me in his dilemmas. However, he would insist that I should be translating his speech for my friends, and failure to follow

  • Until Death   Ch-32, plan

Theme: The Plan I stared at her eyes, wondering if she had just spoken balderdash. The processor also looked surprised, but she was quick to conceal it. I can feel Reed looking at me with curiosity, waiting for me to begin my explanation, but I am just too tired to speak. No wonder they didn't look stunned when they saw me returning from Gondor. Even after I show my power and the transformation in the arena ground, they don't look surprised. After what seemed like forever, I finally found my speech box. "What did you mean by saying you are a specimen?" I asked, still flabbergasted by what they were saying. "I know you might be confused, but that is the truth." Kira retorted blankly. "Nasar," she said while pointing to the new guy with low-cut air. "He has been our eyes ever since your dismissal. There is not a week that goes by without him dreaming about you and your ret

  • Until Death   Ch-31, warrior

Until death-chapter 31 Theme: The Road Warriors Taking different corridors in the tunnel, I was sauntering after the squirrel cat, who I have now named after my foster father. I intentionally do it to honour his name. We have been running for what seems like an eternity, taking different twisted turns. Thanks to the giant red sun, I am sure that I would have lost sight of Reed. He didn't even pause to check on me, despite how I was breathing heavily. "Faster, lazy boy." He snapped at me, which prompted me to increase my pace. Behind us, I can hear the voices of Ryan and my foster mom shouting orders to their army, warning them that I mustn't escape. If it was under normal conditions, I would have conjured my skate ball and whooshed out of the tunnel. However, doing that will not only endanger my life; I will also be lost here forever, and I am sure Reed won't stop checking on me.
