Chapter 164

I fell to the ground; everything was blurry; I couldn't see clearly; everything was white noise. The call had already dropped, but I could still hear the sound of the gunshot; it was playing on repeat in my head. Jaxson was yelling but I could not hear anything he was saying.

Everyone was trooping into the room but I paid no attention to them. It felt like my soul left my body; I was on the ground, and I didn't respond to whatever they were saying. This was the first time I was experiencing such. For a few minutes, I thought I was dead; I thought I was already in the after life.

I didn't want to believe or process what I just heard. Did they just shoot Kieth? Was my son dead? Was I dreaming? Was I hallucinating? I couldn't move but tears were flowing freely from my face. At this point, my mom came to pick me up. I still can't see clearly. I couldn't imagine the tragedy of losing a child.
