Chapter 160

Everyone settled down pretty well. My dad and my mom were placed in a very comfortable room. A doctor was there to attend to my dad and a nurse was on standby to check his vitals and administer his medications when needed.

My kids were sitting in their room and they were busy on their iPads. They were so addicted to playing their games that they were no longer disturbing me. Unlike them before, they would be running around my room and dragging my phone. But now the situation is different.

I was in the same room as Jaxson; I don't know how we ended up in the same room but I was happy that he was in my space. We all came down to have dinner except for my mom and my dad, who ate in their room.

I was at the dining table with Jaxson by my side, my kids, Esther, and Jaxson’s cousin. I didn't know his name but I remembered that he was the one who confronted me. Thinking that I was a call girl or an escort, he wasn't yet aware that my kids belonged to Jaxson; he thought his brother was just
