Chapter 72

Mallory awoke to the sound of her cell phone ringing. She even gave Luke sleeping next to her a brief glance before moving slightly and turning her back on him. She grabbed her phone from the side table next to his bed and discovered it was being phoned from an unregistered number.

When she got out of bed, she was taken aback. She answered the phone.

"Hello?" "Who is this?" She replied before leaving, hoping Luke would not awaken.

"How are you this morning?" A female voice on the other end of the phone enquired.

"This is my name. "Can you tell me who this is?"

"Hello, my name is Ms. Mallory."
