After 2 weeks….

"Sir, have your coffee." Mallory said as she put the cup down on Luke's table.

He looked at the coffee she was carrying. "No need, you can drink if you want. What time is my first meeting?" he asked before picking up the coat and putting it on.

"Exactly nine, sir," she replied.

"Good, and after that?" he asked again, and at that moment Luke was at the door.

"After that, sir, your next meeting is this afternoon at two," she said, as if she had already memorised Luke's schedule for the day.

"Good, move my 9 am meeting to 11am. I'll just go out, meet Zian this morning and have breakfast outside the office. I'll be back before 11, so you can take care of that first. If anyone comes and wants to sign, just keep it and I'll sign it later.

Mallory nodded at Luke's instructions. "All right, sir, I'll take care of it. Take care, sir," she said and Luke didn't answer and hurried out of the office.

She looked at the coffee she had made and took it back to the pantry, adding sugar
