Chapter 55: Tracks

Damon POV

I wasn't expecting Eva to burn down David alive. She didn't hesitate even for a second and walked away calling it a revenge. She pulled the garage shutter down so that David's screams don't get out and moved. As ususal, Eva never looks back to all the evidences she is laying for others to catch her.

There was a fire extinguisher in the garage and I ran to pull it up and help David. However, he was mostly burnt with his skin black and lose. Though the fire had extinguished, he was in tremendous pain. There was no chance that I can take him to the hospital or Eva will be caught.

I pulled David inside the truck and drove to my office guest house where hardly someone comes. I called the doctor to treat David then. There was no point in keeping David alive because he is just going to be a threatr but he knows secrets about Eva that I was interested in.

The doctor treated David and put him on ventillator. I asked my guard to clean up the garage as well as burn the old man's dre
