Chapter 2: Eva

Damon was sipping his coffee in the afternoon hours with his laptop in front of him. David was sitting on the chair in front of him writing down some notes that Damon was giving him time to time. His eyes was fixed on the laptop screen. The room was painted red and the boss chair was highly covertible to comfort level.

On the walls, there were guns hanging and there were two shelves, one that contained the most antique liquor while the other had books and important files containing records of all the past business dealings. The room was so created that the luminiscence produced by lights is only till the switch is on, otherwise nobody can see anything in the room. The switch was hidden and only the owner knows where the switch is.

Nobody was allowed in the room except for Damon and David. While they were working, they heard a sudden knowck on the door. Damon raised his eyebrow and looked at David. david understood his sign and got up to open the door.

Since nobody is allowed inside, David had to walk out of the room. It was a bodyguard.

"Sir, the reason is unknown but Johnas is here and he wants to have a private talk with the boss", the bodyguard claimed.

David could smell something fishy so he asked,

"did he carry any weapons or is he here with his fighter men?"

"no sir, he is here all alone and before we could even ask he gave away his gun at the receptin. He also allowed us to recheck him deeply. All he wants to do is talk", the body guard claimed.

David nodded and walked back into the room. He saw Damon workimg patiently and at this moment it was quite difficult for him to name Johnas. However, Johnas is already at the place so Damon should get off.

"What are you thinking? Spit it out", Damon demanded sensing the awkward silence.

"Sir Johnas is here, unarmed.... just to talk", David answered.

Damon was stunned this time too. he had never felt that Johnas could be sensible enough to bring up just for a conversation. According to damon, Johnas is a rat who would perform every stupidity without thinking twice but this time he changed his mindset.

"It must be something very serious", Damon murmured and got up from his chair.

Damon walked out of the room and David followed him. Johnas was waiting at Damon's office and when Damon entered, he didnt even stand up in his respect. Damon smirked at his childish behaviour and went and sat in his boss chair. David stood beside him and served Damon coffee but didn't place a cup in front of Johnas.

Johnas was definitely offended too but he controlled himself as the matter in his mind was worthe the sacrifise.

"I am not interested in your hospitality, I just want to know about the person who killed my men", Johnas said.

Damon smirked and placed both his arms on the table leaning over it and said,

"your men are hardly alive and my men who killed them are truly aware that you dont care about your people. The audacity of killimg your men lies in their faith. So just be honest, why the hel are you here?", Damon said.

Johnas smiled and leaned on the table in the same posture as that of Damon,

"you seriously think that you can fool me huh? I know that you haven't sent any man but a woman who killed my men. Its true I was not interested in my people's well being but this girl is marvellous. She is epitome of beauty and I want her", Johnas said.

Damon was confused and he looked at David. david had no idea about a woman being at the fight scene either. All they knew that the work of sending people was Mr Green's work, they were not aware that he had sent a woman to action.

"get out you cheap bastard laying eye on every crossing woman", Damon said and all the guns turned towards Johnas.

Johnas banged his hands on the table as he got up,

"how dare you?", he said but could say no longer as the fingers were already placed on the triger.

"I will get that girl no matter what it takes", Johnas said and left in rage.

The moment he left, damon got up and turned towards David.

"Who is that woman. How can a woman be so cruel to kill people in a go? If it was her personal revenge why didn't she kill Johnas too?", Damon asked.

David called Mr Green at that very moment. After a few rings, Mr Green picked up the call.

Mr Green is a middle aged man with a lot of weapons and men. He hires and train young men himself to work for mafia. People pay him depending on the situation and number of men needed for the work. The rest is all in the hands of Mr Green.

"Hello Mr David, how can I help you this time?", Mr Green said.

"We want the information of the men you sent for the liquor factory", David answered.

"Liquor factory? I haven't worked for you since a month, when did this happen?", Green said.

David was confused and looked at Damon perplexed. damon snatched the phone from his hand and said,

"two days ago... I have even paid you for this", Damon said.

"I.... I.....", Green was hesistant.

"I want the details of the girl", Damon said.

Mr Green was completely silent now. He was breathing hard on the other side of the phone and it was clear that he was not willing to share any information.

"Mr Green, what are you hiding? You are aware of the consequences of going against me right?", Damon asked furious.

"Boss, I dont know anything, please. I'll pay you back your money", saying this Green hung up.

Mr Green ran towards the room of his daughter. His daughter was light brown in complexion with long straight hairs. She loves wearing lose shirts and rugged pants. She was on her bed studying for her university exams when her father barged in,

"what the hell did you do Eva?", Green said.

"What, I didn't do anything", Eva replied.

"Don't lie to me, you were late when you came back home day before yesterday, where were you?", Green questioned.

Eva was silent and she pursed her lips.

"I know you are a fighter, I have trained you with my own hands but that was for self defense. You don't have to take place of these men", Green said.

"Dad I have seen blood shed, I am clearly capable. Now that you are old, I am going to take the business further", Eva said.

"No, those are dangerous people. The boss Damon, is looking for you and I know they will find you. You better leave this state now", Green said.

"I am not a coward, I am a fighter and I wont leave", Eva exclaimed.......
