Chapter 13

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Lily had so many bruises covering her body. Her ribs were evident and I saw that two were broken. She looked so small and frail.

I kept staring at her until a nurse walked up to me and told me I had to leave, which made Leo furious because he hated being told what to do and also, he didn't want to leave his mate.

Before I knew it, I started to shake vigorously, almost on the verge of shifting. I tried so hard to fight it, but Leo wanted to be in control.

"Logan, Logan! You need to calm down" Kane said, putting his arms around my body and holding me tight. The doctor just needs to work on her, if he doesn't, she won't get better, so get a grip of yourself."

"I am staying! I'm going nowhere." I growled out but Kane was already dragging me out of the room. When she was out of my view, I stopped growling and faced Kane angrily.
