I was nervous as hell the entire time I was waiting.

Our Anniversary was tomorrow and even though half our relationship was spent with her tied to someone else I still wanted to celebrate us. I went out and set up a beach dinner, making sure to cook her favorites.

I had Serene and Rachael take her shopping because I didn't want her to go home and see the other surprise. They kept her busy while I prepared everything on my own of course.

"What's taking so long?" I asked impatiently waiting for them to show up.

"First of all, we had to do hair and makeup so that alone took almost an hour. I'm trying to make her look nice for you so you can wait another few minutes." Serene said, probably rolling her eyes at me.

I sighed, "Fine. Fine. But don't say shit."

"Oh I'm going to tell her all about the dinner." She said sarcastically. "She's coming. We'll be there soon." She hung up and I turned my phone off, setting it in my pocket.
