Zora left the club and went to sit in her car. She was hoping she would see Angela once the people began to leave. Meanwhile, inside a room, Angela was asleep wrapped in the arms of a man both naked. Outside, inside the car, Zora could no longer fight nature. She dosed off to sleep.

Angela slowly opened her eyes. Her eyes widened when she saw the ceiling she was staring at. She tried to move but her gaze quickly got sight of the man lying down next to her. She raised the blanket, looked inside and quickly brought it down with shock plastered on her face. They were both naked. Angela panicked and fell off the bed. Her fall woke the man up.

Still sitting on the floor holding the blanket as a cover. She stared at the man who slowly sat up on the bed not caring about his current state. She recognized the man as the one who had interviewed her at Diamond Corporation. She held on to the blanket and pushed herself back while sitting on the floor away from the bed as she stared at the man who was trying to compose himself.

The man stood to his feet and Angela covered her face to stop herself from seeing everything about the man. His gaze fell on Angela and he frowned sitting on the floor on the other side of the bed. He walked to a stand and grabbed a robe which he quickly slipped into. He picked a robe and offered it to Angela.

“Here, put this on. We need to talk,” the man said and Angela just nodded.

Angela put on the robe and stood to her feet. She scanned the room and found her clothes.

“Can I dress up first,” Angela asked and the man nodded.

Angela grabbed her clothes.

“The bathroom is behind you,” the man said and Angela entered the bathroom.

“How did I end up in such a mess?” Angela thought as she put her dress back on.

She felt, guilty, ashamed and embarrassed at the same time. She opened the window hoping to leave the place without facing the man but she looked out and realized how far away she was from the ground. She gave up and returned to the bedroom.

“Sit down,” the man commanded and Angela sat down staring at the cold man sitting in front of her on the couch.

“Have this pill. You will experience one hell of a headache. You were drugged,” he said. “We were both drugged,” he added.

Angela accepted the pill with trembling hands and drank the water the man offered her.

“Now, last night what happened between you and me was an accident. Unfortunately, this act has taken something away from both of us and we need to take responsibility,” the man said and Angela was wondering what he meant by taking responsibility.

“I can see it is your first time and so it is mine,” he said. “I am going to take responsibility for you. You will have to do the same,” he said and Angela’s eyes widened.

“Are you proposing marriage?” Angela stammered.

“Yes, a marriage but a quiet one. One that will remain a secret until I want to go public with it,” he said. “If you have a boyfriend, you will have to break up with him, immediately,” he added and Angela frowned.

“Do you understand?” the man asked.

What kind of a heart does he have inside him? I don’t have a boyfriend but this is ridiculous. Angela thought.

“No,” Angela replied.

“Well, you have to figure it out because I am not taking no for an answer,” the man said and stood to his feet. “Prepare your mind, we are getting married an hour from now,” he added.

“Wait, don’t I have a say in this?” Angela questioned also standing to her feet.

“You will have a say if you can restore my virginity,” the man said and Angela frowned. “Can you restore my virginity?” he asked and Angela went silent. “Go wash down and be ready in half an hour,” he added.

Angela stood there staring at the man wondering what was happening.

“No, I can’t do that,” Angela said and the man halted in his steps.

“You can’t do what?” the man asked.

“I can’t get married like that?” Angela said.

“Okay,” the man said and Angela stared with hope. “There are two options, you either marry me or I press charges against you for drugging me,” the man said and Angela creased her brow.

“So what is it going to be? Make your choice, so I will know if I am grabbing a suit or my phone to call the police on you,” he added and Angela lowered her head.

If he was indeed drugged, how was she going to defend herself against this man? Again, she was not ready to let her parents know what had happened.

“Fine, I will marry you,” Angela replied irritated.

“Good choice,” the man said and walked towards his closet.

He pulled a suit out as Angela walked towards the bathroom. She took a bath and put her dress back on as she didn’t have anything else to wear. She returned to the bedroom and the man also went to freshen up. Soon they were both dressed and out of the room. They used the elevator and ended up in the garage. The man walked towards his parked car and two guards were waiting for him. He opened the car door for Angela and she got inside. He also got inside and the two guards got into the car with one person behind the wheel and the other in the co-driver's seat.

“To the clothing store first and the courthouse next,” the man said and the guard put the car into motion.

At the store, the man walked Angela into the shop and got her a beautiful white dress which he made her put on inside the shop before they both exited the shop after paying for the dress. From the store, the car stopped at the courthouse and the man held Angela’s hand once they were both out of the car. They walked into the courthouse.

“What is your name?” the officer asked.

“Angela Anderson,” Angela replied.

The man presented them with various documents to sign. Once they were done, he handed the marriage certificate to them.

“Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Moore,” the officer said.

“Thank you,” the man said and headed for the exit pulling Angela with him.

“Can I know your name?” Angela asked.

“I am Bryce Moore,” Bryce introduced.

“Thank you,” Angela acknowledged.

They both got into the car and Bryce turned to look at Angela who appeared to be angry, terrified and embarrassed.

“You are my wife now and can’t stay far away from me. I will give you 24 hours starting now to move in with me. Here is the location address,” Bryce said and handed Angela a piece of card with an address on it.

“24 hours to move in with you?” Angela repeated the statement. “What do I tell my parents?” she questioned.

“That is for you to figure out. I can’t have my wife staying somewhere. You need to move in with me. Remember, no one must know about this marriage,” Bryce said.

“I will be expecting you tomorrow morning. Just pack a small bag,” he added before the car pulled over in front of Angela’s house.

“How did you know where I live?” Angela asked surprised as she didn’t mention where her home was.

“Now this should tell you not to disobey me because I would find you,” Bryce said. “You can go now. You are smart, use that ability to the fullness,” Bryce said.

Angela got out of the car and started walking towards her home. She was greeted by her mother.

“First time, partying and you decided to come home this morning?” Mrs Anderson said after Angela greeted her.

“And your phone was off too,” came Mr Anderson’s voice as he strode into the kitchen.

“I am sorry. We lost track of time amidst the fun,” Angela lied through her teeth.

“You looked tired. Go rest, we will address this later,” Mrs Anderson said allowing me to get upstairs to her room.

Inside Angela's room, Angela retrieved her phone from her bag and put it on charge as the battery had died. She sat on the bed running the court wedding in my hand.

I am now married? I thought and started thinking of what to tell my parents so they allow me to leave.
