110. Buying time in privacy

Author's POV

The drive was slow, filled with pin drop silence while Elena gaze out of the window hugging her frame while Shawn still distracted what she blurted and stole her glance at times.

In the weak moment of his solitude and love angle where the one he loves was nestling another nest with someone else, he was getting attracted with the new found discovery and statements from Elena. His heart, like a magnet numb and baffled to distinguish anything correctly, melts toward Elena unknowingly. Being thoughtful and considerate he pulls his car to a cafe which arrives at his sight first. As he recalls she is hungry and couldn't eat because of him.

Amusement breaks out at Elena's face as she notices the car taking a divergent instead of going straight toward the bustling city. With bafflement evident in her eyes s
