CHAPTER TEN- FIRST CHALLENGE

LEO’S POV

I was already dressed in my sportswear when I received a call from John, who informed me that Father is making arrangements for my so-called brother to come back. No matter what game they try to play, I’ll always be one step ahead. Finally, it’s time for me to show Father what I’m made of.

My jaw clenched in annoyance as my attention returned to my sportswear—a sleek, blue athletic outfit, perfectly matching hers, as each couple was assigned a matching color. I don’t know what she’s thinking, accepting to have her murder case aired on the variety show. One mistake, and she’s done for. But why do I even bother?

Suddenly, I sensed someone behind me and turned to see who it was. Of course, it was Rachel Snow. Only God knows how long she’d been standing there.

“Hey, it’s time, or do you want us to lose today’s competition before we even start? Five minutes late, and we’re done,” she said, clearly irritated, her hands on her hips, but there was something missing in her eyes.
