Natasha's POV

I avoided him precisely because of this—I didn't want to endure his anger. In reality, he had never erupted in front of me, except for the one time when I wanted to work after our marriage. Most of the time, I couldn't read this man. He stood tall, looking down at me as if a deity, and I, a mere ant in the vast world.

From the beginning, we were never meant to be together.

The forced compatibility due to our backgrounds disappeared, and I chose to leave for the sake of the little pride I had left.

For the past two years, I deliberately avoided thinking about him.

I didn't pay attention to family matters, didn't read newspapers or news. I subconsciously avoided everything related to our past.

Annelie said I was running away, but other than running away, I couldn't think of any other solution.

When I found out I was pregnant and felt the living presence of a small life inside me, my life took a turn. A child, a child belonging to Jaclyn and me.

I was overjoyed, like any wo

Jaclyn's POVI really wanted to tear open this woman's chest and take a good look to see what exactly was on her mind. Or perhaps, she had no heart at all; it had long been devoured by some stray dog.Clearly a timid woman, yet a few words from her could infuriate me to no end.I didn't even care about it, but she was all focused on getting a divorce from me.How beautiful. When we got married, she was more than willing. Now that she's married to me, there's no way she can get a divorce. She talked to me about matrimonial law as if I wasn't familiar with it. I raised a sarcastic smile and said, "The pack's law states that if mates' wolves live separately for more than two years, it can be considered a possible condition for a broken relationship, provided that one party files for divorce. So, what's your intention? Are you going to file for divorce and take me to court, or are you going to sue Jacob?"Natash Yael kept her head down, biting her lip in silence. She knew very well that s

Natash's POV:As soon as I opened the door, I saw Sophia walking around in the living room, holding Perry and murmuring softly. It startled me.Perry was born premature, a month early, weighing just a little over four pounds. She spent almost half a month in an incubator. Her little face, small body, and weak breath made her look like a fragile and pitiable kitten, with a mouth so small it couldn't even hold a bottle. My breast milk was limited, and my overall care during that period wasn't great. The poor little girl often couldn't eat enough, lacked strength, and fell asleep with a bottle in her mouth, whimpering and twitching in her sleep. It got a bit better after three months, but at six months, she developed bronchitis. She had needles on her tiny forehead, and the pain in my heart was unbearable.I spent many nights holding her, rocking and comforting her. Normally, at this hour, a child would have been asleep, but holding her now likely meant she wasn't feeling well again.I h

Jaclyn's POV:I returned to Red Valley Pack overnight and sat on the terrace of the villa for the whole night. In the morning, I drove back to Red Moon Pack.I spent the night pondering but couldn't figure out why she didn't come back with me, just like I didn't understand why she left in the first place. For the first time in my life, I began to question my charm. Could she hate me so much that she wanted to avoid me for the rest of her life? The girl who used to be docile and obedient in my arms, now seemed to have grown bold. I even doubted whether I had been mistaken before; perhaps, if a rabbit bares its teeth, it could bite. Even if not fatal, it would still hurt. Then, I remembered the kiss in the hospital. Suddenly, I felt that she wasn't completely indifferent to me. The direct reaction she had, I could feel it.So why this inconsistency in her actions?I needed to figure this out. After a night of contemplation, I couldn't understand anything else, but one thing was clear—I

  • Unexpected Reunion with the Ex-Husband   Chapter 11-Annelie

Annelie's POV"What now?" I felt a bit puzzled by these two. In fact, I knew about Natash·Yael's secret crush on Jaclyn·Dills for a decade.Natash·Yael was a reserved and stubborn person.Back when I was distressed by my inability to afford tuition and pulling my hair by the college lake, she approached me, softly asking about the reason. We shared a dorm, but for almost a semester, we hadn't exchanged many words. In my eyes, Natash·Yael seemed a bit aloof, and at the time, she was quite insecure. Here, she wasn't the celebrated top scorer in the pack's high school; she was just an outsider from a pack.It took me a while to realize that not everyone was kind and genuine. Some people were malicious, even contemptuous and mocking. In less than a year, I experienced it all. Just when I was losing hope and on the verge of despair, I met Natash·Yael.Although Natash·Yael would never admit it, she was my benefactor, showing me hope in moments of despair. This seemingly ordinary and reserve

Jaclyn's POVI'm really exhausted.Since meeting Luna until now, I haven't even closed my eyes. In fact, it's been almost two years, and I haven't had a good night's sleep. After Luna left, the initial anger gradually faded, and I felt a bit empty around me.I had gotten used to coming home to Luna waiting for me.Even if I returned late, upon entering the house, I could see the dim light left by Natash·Yael for me.Despite not being very bright, it always brought a different warmth to me. My heart was calm and at ease. Now that Natash·Yael is gone, the vast space seems to have lost its vitality. It's desolate and cold, and the atmosphere leaves my heart hanging in emptiness, unable to rise or fall.Unconsciously, this little woman has become so important to me, important to the point of being irreplaceable.I just couldn't see it clearly at that time, clouded by momentary anger.Enduring these two years without reaching out to her, every day and night, my heart has been in a tug of w

Jaclyn's POV Natash·Yael pursed her lips and lowered her head, contemplating how to deal with me. However, before she could respond, I urged her, "Open the door. Didn't you lose your keys again? Let me check." With a quick motion of my long fingers, I hooked her bag over my arm. As I unzipped it, I paused for a moment, surprised by its contents. While I may not have children of my own, the assortment inside—diapers, baby bottles, wipes, towels, spare clothes, snacks, and toys—resembled a treasure chest. Even though Luna's bag wasn't as fully equipped, the real concern was the presence of child-related items. I skeptically looked at Luna. She hastily grabbed her bag back, retrieved her keys, but hesitated before putting them in the lock. Turning to face me, she asked nervously, "What's going on?" I remained silent, narrowing my eyes. In the dim hallway light, they seemed to emit an unsettling gleam, increasing Luna's unease. Misinterpreting Luna's nervousness, my mind raced to

Jaclyn's POVWhen Natash·Yael finished speaking, my eyes grew colder. Her words ignited anger in me, and my gaze had frozen into an arctic glacier, with a dangerous rage akin to a volcanic flame.I never knew this woman could be so articulate. In my impression, she was always timid in my presence, speaking in a hushed and hesitant manner.I had never seen a woman so adept at using both reason and emotion. Unfortunately, she chose to reveal this side of her at such an inappropriate moment.I don't want to admit it, but at this moment, I have to acknowledge that she is determined to part ways with me.The memories engraved in my mind, those I often reminisce about when idle, have become unbearably bitter. I foolishly thought she still cherished our past, but she had long cast it aside.Natash·Yael's words have already stripped me of my usual wisdom and judgment. All I can think about is how she wants to separate from me.I have forgiven the past, but now she wants to leave me, and she s

The usually deserted art gallery suddenly bustled with activity today, as vehicles came and went, occupying the few parking spaces in front. Louis emerged from the war meeting only to find not a single parking spot available. He had to park his car in the underground garage of a nearby office building and walk over. His handsome features, commanding presence, and the military insignia adorning his attire immediately drew the attention of numerous people as he stepped into the art-filled gallery. The juxtaposition of Louis' military resolve with the artistic ambiance of the gallery seemed discordant, yet he paid no heed to the curious glances of others as he made his way straight to the reception desk by the stairs, where two young women in their early twenties stood. One of the girls, her cheeks flushed with excitement, stuttered, "C-Can we help you?" under Louis' direct gaze, her head involuntarily lowering. A flicker passed through Louis' eyes, a slight upward curl at the corner

Jaclyn povI, Jaclyn Dills, have never been involved in things like chatting on Instagram, but Natash always likes to talk about it. In my opinion, what's the point of chatting with strangers on Instagram? If they're friends, just call them, right? But Natash never tires of it.However, now I have to succumb to this Instagram thing. To deal with this situation, I spent half a day sitting in front of the computer, finally registered for an Instagram account, and then added a friend who could provide fake IDs. When he asked me what documents I needed, I simply replied, "ID card," and then there was silence. After a moment, the other side replied, "We don't provide ID cards." I quickly asked, "Why? I heard you provide all kinds of documents." Then I added, "Money is not a problem."There was silence again for a moment, and finally, he gave me an address to meet in person. I felt strange. Now these fake ID businesses have become like spy activities, but I just wanted an ID card, and I rea

Natasha's POVOne day, Marilyn, Cecilia, and I were playing mahjong at Louis's house. When women get together, private matters are inevitably brought up. Maria glanced at Natasha Yael's swollen belly and asked, "You guys didn't use contraception, huh?" Natasha Yael nodded, "We did."Marilyn chuckled and pointed to her own swollen belly, "Then how did this happen?" Cecilia blinked, "How did it happen?" Natasha Yael explained, "We used a condom the first time with Jaclyn Dills, but somehow, it happened anyway."Marilyn smirked, "You guys must have been too passionate to bother with a condom, hence this little surprise." Natasha Yael blushed, and Cecilia remarked, "Jaclyn Dills seems calm and elegant, unlike Morris, who's so restless. He must be very gentle, right, Natasha Yael?" Maria nodded in agreement.Marilyn snorted, "You guys are so naive. These men are not gentle or elegant; it's all an act. They're wolves in bed. Otherwise, why would Natasha Yael have this belly? Natasha's POVJaclyn Dills brought me to the seaside for a vacation, and it's been three days already. Apart from feeling very familiar with the outrageous bed in the presidential suite of the hotel, I haven't even seen the sunrise.Well, that's not entirely true. Sometimes, when Jaclyn Dills keeps me up tormenting me until the early hours, I occasionally catch glimpses of sunlight streaming in from the window. But by then, I'm so exhausted that I neither have the inclination nor the energy to appreciate the sunrise he has always longed for.By the fourth day, I couldn't take it anymore and directly ordered Jaclyn Dills that if he didn't let me out soon, I would go home by myself. What kind of vacation was this anyway?Driven by Luna's powerful resentment, for the sake of my future happiness, Comrade Jaclyn Dills finally took Luna out for a walk in the evening of the fourth day.The hotel we stayed in consisted of separate villas with a private beach, offering a high level of privacy.

  • Unexpected Reunion with the Ex-Husband   Chapter 94- never imagined before

Jaclyn's POVOne evening, after Luna and I had just finished a round of playfulness, lying in bed catching our breath, Natash, who had just regained her composure, complained discontentedly, "Jaclyn, why are you always on top? Didn't we agree that I would be on top this time?"I innocently caressed Luna, saying, "Didn't I let you be on top for the first half just now? You seemed to be enjoying it, telling your mate to go harder, to speed up for Luna. How quickly you forget."Natash blushed, "Whether I'm on top or you move, what's the difference when you're on top of me?" I blinked, then rolled over to pin Natash beneath me, leaning down to give her a playful nip before smoothly sliding inside her. "Hmm," Natash murmured.Leaning close to Natash's ear, I lightly nibbled and said with a mischievous tone, "Luna, your mate will tell you the difference now. When you're beneath, I can support you here, making it easier." As I spoke, my hand reached between Natash's legs, parting them forcef

Tommy's POVThe day I first met Natash Yael is forever etched in my heart. Her clear little face, those calm yet stubborn eyes, seemed to become the most profound imprint of my life. As years passed and time weathered, the memory of her only grew stronger.Love, viewed from the rational lens of science, is merely a biological program, a culmination of hormonal effects and chemical reactions. The initial ardor of romance tends to fade with time spent together, even to the point of complete dissolution after a decade.Though my time with Natash Yael amounted to less than a year, I never forgot her in the nearly fifteen years apart. Despite nothing ever happening between us, she became the singular regret I couldn't shake from my romantic history.Longing compelled me to decide to return home. Luckily, fate smiled upon us, and we reunited as I had hoped. However, I had already forfeited the right and position to love her.Jaclyn Dills will never know how envious I am of him. There was ev

Natasha's POVMy mind raced through a few twists and turns, and I reached out, grabbing hold of his shirt hem, and pouted while blinking innocently, "Mate, can't I just say I'm sorry?" It was my go-to move when dealing with Jaclyn Dills.Sure enough, Jaclyn Dills turned around, sitting on the edge of the bathtub, "What are you sorry for?"I hurriedly replied earnestly, "I shouldn't have gone to the nightclub with my friends." And what else? Jaclyn Dills' voice softened a bit.I blinked rapidly, "And I shouldn't have stayed out past ten.""And what else?""And... umm..." I racked my brain for a while but couldn't come up with anything.Jaclyn Dills' gaze slid from my face to my body, and his tone darkened, "Where did you get this outfit? I don't remember buying you anything like this. Do you know how ridiculous you look, prancing around on stage in that?""It's not prancing, it's dancing."Jaclyn Dills pursed his lips, "If this is the kind of dancing you're learning, starting tomorrow,
