Kris’s POV The day before, the Alpha Ball, Freddie, rushes into the pack house, wanting to see me. “Z has been in touch. Kris. Z said the entire Royal Guard has been deployed.” “Very good,” I said casually. “Kris. You don’t understand. The Royal Guard accompanies the Wolf King wherever he goes.” I shrug my shoulders. “Maybe he is going shopping. Picking out a present for the Luna Queen.” I suggest.
