Eon said goodbye to Lina after they had finished their breakfast without any hint that Lina was angry at him. He assumed things were good as Lina didn’t say anything nor treat him differently. She even kissed him goodbye and thank him for looking out after her. He explained to her that the people watching over her were just for precaution and there would be no more camera involved this time. Lina agreed, thus, he thought everything was fine.

However, the moment she arrived at Luna, Larissa welcomed him with a question. Not about the incident that made him undisposed but because Lina has been asking about his Luna.

Eon furrowed his eyebrows. “What do you mean?”

“Lina sent me this photo.” She opened her camera and showed Eon the photo that Lina sent her.

Eon’s jaw ticked in annoyance. The photo that Larissa was showing was the photo of Elara in his wallet. That photo has no other copy than the one in his wallet. There is no way that Lina could see it un

Lina was waiting for Larissa’s message but she still got surprised when she saw her name on the screen of her phone, calling her. “Hello, sorry if I disturb you,” she hastily said as soon as she received Larissa’s phone call. “No worries. We’re friends.” She chuckled lightly. “But I can’t stay long. Everyone is busy since Eon just came back.” She went quiet for a long time and Lina could only hear some shouting in the background and the clanging of some pots. It seemed like Larissa was in the kitchen. “I just want to know her name.” She said quietly. She was shaking when she said it, which made her furrow her brows. What’s with the woman in Eon’s wallet to evoke such strange emotion in her. She had been feeling insecure and rattled ever since she saw the photo. That’s why she was asking Larissa about it. She wanted to know about her. She wanted to understand the reason why she was feeling this way. “I’m sorry…” She cleared her throat. “I told Eon abou

When he entered his penthouse, he took off all of his clothes, except for his boxer. He removed the bandage that was covering his upper body and saw the skin of his wounds healing properly. It looked like it had been healed for a week other than a day. He smirked with how fast he healed as he flexed his arms and rolled his shoulders and felt no ounce of pain despite the long line of wounds that would be healed within the day and it won’t leave any scars at all.Despite the status of his wounds, he still took some medicine as well as the concoction of wild purple rose to combat the wolfsbane in his system. Although most of it was already washed out for his wolf was already back in being sarcastic, he wanted to remove all the traces of wolfsbane in his system to speed up his healing process. “Why aren't you answering my calls?” His words were slurred as he drank too much at the bar. In normal times, he won’t get this drunk but after being shot with five bullets laced in wolfsbane, his body was still healing. He was about ninety percent back to his old self but still, the amount of alcohol that he had to drink because of the two stupid brothers were worth a week amount of alcohol he would normally consume at Luna. When he woke up after his four hours’ sleep, Ehann was waiting for him in his private office with the report of the damage of what happened in the port. But Ehann wasn’t waiting alone. The Rahmonov brothers were with him. They came to the club to submit to his authority. They heard that he was about to make a deal with the Mexican cartel and they don’t want it to happen. They are willing to lick the heels of his boots to make sure that they get the biggest slice of the pie when it comes to the business in the port. After listening to their prepo

  • Under The Waning Moon   Leaving Him Behind

“Hurry up with your coffee.” She pushed the coffee that Eon made for her away from her. She needed it away from because she was worried that in her annoyance, she would end up pouring him the coffee, or worse, she would end up pouring it to herself to put out the fire of desires that was lighted in her core with the way Eon looked at her. “Why do you keep on coming here at this hour?” Her brows were so tightly knit that they looked like they merged as one. “I want to see you first before I go to bed.” He replied with a straight face that annoyed the hell out of Lina because her resolve was slowly melting. “You want me to believe that?” She mumbled under her breath. Their exchange of words was getting on her nerves and she noticed that they were like a couple that was fighting. And she doesn’t want that for she will end up assuming things again—only to get disappointed in the end. “Why won’t you believe me?” He asked brazenly, running his foot along her shin.

Eon grunted as he rolled to his side, his arm automatically sought for Lina but his hand ended up in an empty and cold space. His eyes flew open and his wolf yawned inside him. Another strange thing that he has that other werewolves like him do not have, is the ability to let his wolf sleep. He can tell his wolf to sleep or stay awake, like a guard dog. However, whenever he’s with Lina, his darn would fall asleep before him. He’s too comfortable with Lina. A smirk that was about to curl at the corner of his lips, halted. [She’s not here.] “Hmm,” Eon creased his brows. He and his wolf have to talk about his overprotectiveness towards Lina. [Shut up!] He snapped at his wolf and grabbed his phone on the bedside table. “Where’s my girl?” He asked not to let the person on the other line talk, nor did he hear his own protectiveness. “She went for a run.” The man answered, clearing his throat. He wasn’t used to Eon’s tone of voice. He didn’t expect him to be too ter

Lina bent down to tie her shoelaces when he spotted the man that wasn’t even in a running outfit but following her. She scoffed. ‘Eon’s men.’ She straightened her back and stretched her arms above her head, bending her waist left and right before continuing with her pretend jogging. If she’s actually jogging, she would avoid the usual route of joggers, but now, she deliberately went into the same path where there was heavier foot traffic. She jogged leisurely, trying her best not to give in to the urge to look back and check where the man was following her.Her attention was caught by the colorful balloons that flew into the blue sky—the balloon vendor was screaming in rage, she stopped on her track to watch together with the other onlookers. Apparently, someone played a trick on the poor balloon vendor and cut the ties of the balloons from his bike, letting go of hundred balloons up in the sky, never to be seen again. Lina shook her head a

His footsteps echoed in the quiet corridor of the hospital. The white walls and the generic door with small cheap-looking numbers stuck on the wall next to it were ticking in his head. The nurse told them that their patient was in room 543.Travis found out Trent was taken to this hospital. According to the bystanders that they asked in the boulevard, there was a riot because of a prank that went wrong and Trent was one of the casualties. The homeless man that Frio was fighting with, told them that a beautiful woman gave him the smartwatch so he could sell it. Thus, he had to pay for the damn smartwatch to get it back. Lina woke up from the feeling of warm water gently splashing on her skin. When she opened her eyes, she saw Eon in deep concentration, washing her naked body in the tub. She looked to her right and noticed that they were in their own cabin. “Hey, welcome back.” He grinned, caressing her cheek. “What happened?” She asked in confusion. Eon had the audacity to smirk and arch his brow. “Well, sweetheart, I could remind you what exactly had happened,” he said in the soft tone of voice, flicking her nipple that was peeking on the water. “What a jerk!” She cupped some water in her hands and threw it to Eon’s face to wipe the smug expression on it. “You were asking,” he chuckled, wiping the water off his face as he stood up and started removing his clothes and without a word stepped inside the tub with her. He took the other end, opposite from her. He had his knees bent but his legs were wide open. Lina swallowed, and the thought of crawling in between his legs, to settle in the comfort

She stepped closer to Eon’s side who automatically opened his arm to enfold her.“Eon, Lina, we have to go. Thank you for inviting us to your wedding.” Briare’s voice broke the silence between them.“Thank you for coming for such short notice,” Eon replied, extending his hand for a handshake then realized that Lina was like a small chick under his right arm, that he had to move to his left and again offered his hand for a shake to Briare. “Hope to still see you at Luna,” he added.Briare smiled at Eon’s invitation but in his eyes was sadness that Eon could not help but wonder what this man had been

She wondered when Eon prepared all of it.“Baby, please, say yes and hurry because we are running after the sunset,” he laughed in amusement with the disbelief on Lina’s face.“Okay!” She laughed. Because of how overbearing he was with a smug look on his face to be able to catch her in surprise with her breakfast request, served in bed and the second factor was him, calling himself her husband. It does tickle her fancy. She definitely likes the sound of it. ‘Her husband.’ However, they aren’t married and they haven’t talked about marriage at all. The perfect wear for the cold mountain night. “He had to leave because the Alpha of Lykanthos was caught and brought here.” “Oh,” she said with a sharp intake of breath. “You aren’t going to—” She had no idea what Eon should or could do. He shook his head and opened his arms and she strolled inside them and pressed her cheek on her chest. “We are just guests here. Whatever business they have, they will settle them on their own.
