Veil didn't know how to feel as she walked back into her office. As her heels echoed on the tiled ground, her heart thumped in perfect synchrony, making her halt abruptly in the middle of the hallway. Shaking her head, she tried to get rid of her fears before continuing the journey to her office.

Although she hadn't done anything wrong that she could remember, the look Anders had given her wasn't particularly a friendly one.

He was obviously pissed about something.
